Dreaming of a White Christmas? We are bringing some festive cheer to shake those winter blues!
It is exactly half a year before the big guy in red returns, and we couldn't think of a better excuse to celebrate.
Join us for Christmas in July with a festive-themed winter family picnic on Sunday, 22nd July from 12pm to 3pm.
Rug up, pack the picnic blanket and grab your nearest and dearest for a fun-filled afternoon in the meadow at Teavine House, Tallebudgera.
Our chef has designed a special festive-themed high tea hamper to be savoured picnic-style as we celebrate Christmas in July - complete with delicious housemade spiced mulled wine!
The menu includes a selection of savoury canapes, including high tea-style turkey, cranberry and brie sandwiches, pulled pork and slaw sliders, and gourmet cheese and crackers; finishing on a sweet note with traditional fruit mince pies, and creme brule topped with raspberry coulis. Little ones will delight in yummy treats including chocolate brownie Christmas trees, and marshmallow slice.
Snuggle up with family and friends and enjoy a lively program of entertainment including live music, with one of the Gold Coast's finest acoustic performers, Danny Dyson, and fun for the kids, with face painting, Christmas crafts, and even a visit from one of Santa's real-life reindeer!
Our friends from Pony Parties Gold Coast Tweed have been in talks with Father Christmas, and Barney the reindeer will make his way south to delight our youngest guests with reindeer pony rides, meet-and-greets, and photo opportunities.
And don't miss your chance to find a beautiful handmade ornament or statement decoration to put away for December, with local artisans Sticks and Bows curating a special range of unique treasures for our festive market stall.
