terms and conditions of booking

CANCELLATION AND CHANGE OF DATE POLICY 

A minimum of 7 days' notice is required to change the date of your function, or cancel your booking.

CANCELLATION FEES

We adhere to these strict cancellation fees:-

Cancellations made between 2 and 6 days from the date of your function will incur a fee of 50% of the balance outstanding.

Cancellation made within 24 hours from the booked date of your function, or failure to show up at the time reserved for your high tea,  will incur a fee of 100% of the balance outstanding.

Cancellation fees will be charged to the nominated credit card.

GROUP BOOKINGS (10 or more people)

A deposit of $200 is required to secure your booking for groups of 10 or more people. All booking enquiries that have not paid a deposit are considered tentative and not confirmed.

FINAL GUEST NUMBERS AND PAYMENT

Guest numbers must be finalised at least 24 hours before the date of the booking, and no further changes can be made after this time. 

If a guest is unable to attend on the day of the event, we can offer their high tea packaged as takeaway.  Please note: the full cost of high tea for all confirmed guests is payable even if one or more guest do not attend on the day.

The balance of your booking must be paid on the day of the event - we have EFTPOS and accept credit card payments (Visa or Mastercard) or cash. 

We are unable to accept individual payments; one payment per group.

MINIMUM ATTENDEES FOR EXCLUSIVE USE OF PRIVATE FUNCTION SPACES

Garden Courtyard - minimum attendees for exclusive use:  20

Covered Patio - minimum attendees for exclusive use: 10

Please note: if numbers fall below the minimum for exclusive use and your group would still like exclusive access, there is a $200 venue hire fee.

Should the number of attendees fall below the minimum for each exclusive use area, and the venue hire fee is not charged, we reserve the right to allocate the group to a more appropriate area, or allow other bookings to share the area.
